Mytilini
The town of Mytilini, the capital of the island, is outspread on seven hills,
with the castle at the top of the pinewood dominating in majesty. Mytilini, a
town of ancient history, has many beautiful and scenic quarters and at the same
time it is a spiritual and commercial center.
Mithimna
The town of Mithimna, carved on a rock and embellished by the Byzantine castle
on the top, shall impress you with its architectural structure. Mithimna, a town
that used to be one of the most important ancient settlements, is a very
picturesque resort.
Plomari
Plomari is the largest hamlet of the island of Lesvos and it is renowned for the
production of the traditional ouzo. Plomari has a fine street planning and it is

Eressos
